This is an exciting time for Broadway Boulevard!

We are imagining a better U.S.1 in northeast West Palm Beach. What does your community need to make it complete?

The West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Authority is working with residents and stakeholders to formulate code amendment recommendations for the two-mile BMUD corridor stretching from 25th Street northward to 59th Street along Broadway (also known as U.S.1) in northeast West Palm Beach.  These code amendments will support economic development, investment, and physical improvement desired in this corridor and protect the surrounding community.

A redevelopment authority is a government body which operates at the local level to improve districts, neighborhoods, and corridors that have been neglected or blighted. CRAs draft and implement plans for cities and towns in a way that leads to investments that everyone can feel good about because these actions will benefit the entire community. Codes are the land development regulations and zoning which provide instruction and requirements for the construction of new buildings, streets, and public spaces. By changing the code we make the community’s vision possible.
